Ukhozi Lodge is a 4 Star Superior Lodge situated in Kariega Game Reserve, a Malaria free, 'Big 5' reserve ideally located only 140kms from the Eastern Cape town of Port Elizabeth and along the well known Garden Route.

Nestled in the bush, the luxury suites are crafted from log and boast a unique African style, each with a private plunge pool and deck offering panoramic views of the valley. The Lodge also offers African-style lounges and a restaurant and boma with outdoor pool, where guests can unwind.

Game viewing at Kariega Game Reserve is spectacular. Guided open vehicle game drives are enjoyed every morning and evening, when guests may be lucky enough to have close encounters with some of Africa's 'Big 5' (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino), in addition to these there is always other game roaming freely in their natural habitat and visitors should experience interaction with at least some of the other species - such as hippo, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, kudu, waterbuck as well as the myriad bird species including the nesting crowned eagle, martial and fish eagles.

The lodge offers visitors a relaxed and friendly environment from which to enjoy the African bush. All of the chalets have spacious living areas, air conditioning and large private viewing decks. The lodge has been expertly integrated with its surrounding landscape to create a natural environment.
